How many people can attend?
What are the best activities for families?
Popular family activities include junior dirt karting, hovercrafting, archery, axe throwing, air rifle shooting, and old school sports day games. Our team can help recommend the best combination based on your group’s ages.
Can we buy a family activity day as a gift?
Yes. Many of our experiences and activity packages make excellent gifts for birthdays, Christmas, special occasions, or family celebrations.
How do i make a booking?
You can view prices, package options, and availability online using the package options shown on this page. Once you have checked availability, confirming your booking is just the next step.
For groups of up to 15 people, booking online is quick and straightforward.
For groups of 16 or more, it is usually best to discuss your plans with us first so we can help with the most suitable package, timings, and group setup before you book online.
Can I pay a deposit?
Yes. You can pay a 10% deposit for online bookings with a total value of £500 or more, subject to a minimum deposit of £100.
When is payment needed?
Our standard terms require payment in full no later than 4 weeks before the event.
For short-notice bookings, we can accept a deposit while you get the group organised. The remaining balance will then be requested as soon as practical, and no later than 4 weeks before the event.
Can I change my group size?
Yes. We understand group sizes can change.
We ask you to confirm your guaranteed minimum group size:
- 28 days before the event for groups of up to 16 people
- 56 days before the event for groups of 16+ people
I am uncertain of my group size — should I wait to book?
No, it is usually better to book early rather than risk losing your preferred date or time slot.
When booking, start with your guaranteed minimum number and then add extra attendees as they commit.
Do you have activities for kids?
Yes, we are a great place to come for a family day out. Due to the nature of our adrenaline packed days out, not all our activities are suitable for younger children. Younger children are able to take part in bronze hovercraft experience and family dirt karting from age 7, and most of our target sports from age 12.
Can I come alone or do i have to be part of a group?
Yes. We have a range of activities available for solo visitors to Hover Force. In our online booking widget you can filter activities by selecting 1 participant to see what’s on offer.
Hovercraft Trials vs Hovercraft Racing – What’s the Difference?
At Hover Force we offer two very different hovercraft formats, each delivering a unique experience. Our main Hovercraft Trials circuit is a purpose-built 800m course designed to recreate the full thrill of hovercraft driving. Featuring multiple bends, changing terrain and dedicated water sections, it’s all about learning how to drift, control and glide across both land and water. With live Bluetooth coaching, drivers progressively build confidence while tackling a flowing technical course. There are 3 experiences offered.
Our Hovercraft Racing format is something entirely different. Racing takes place on two paired modified figure-8 style circuits, designed for tighter turns, close competition and head-to-head action. The shorter lap layout creates a faster-paced experience focused on quick reactions and competitive racing rather than technical driving progression and is suited for Group Bookings Only

Create Your Own Hen Day lets you choose from 1 to 5 activities. It is the most flexible option and is ideal for groups who want to build their own package.
Can we book before a night out?
Yes. Many stag groups book Hover Force as the daytime activity before heading into Liverpool, Manchester or Chester.
Can we combine activities?
Yes. Choose Create Your Own Day to combine up to a recommended maximum of 5 activities.

What is the minimum number of people for my stag party/ hen do?
There is no minimum group size. But our group mini mayhem bundles start at 8 people
Can we add branding for our business or prizes?
Yes, talk to us about branding opportunities, trophies, or other additions to enhance your team event
What happens in bad weather? will our team building day be cancelled?
Most activities run rain or shine, only in very extreme weather would we need to cancel.
We’ll work with you to adapt the schedule or move activities indoors where possible
Is it suitable for mixed abilities or office teams?
Yes. We offer both high-adrenaline and low-impact options, so everyone can get involved at their own pace.
Do you provide food and drink?
We have snack and drinks available but if you want something more substantial we can arrange catering for larger groups. Just let us know in advance.
Can we tailor the day to our team?
Absolutely! Choose from our activity menu or let us build a custom day based on your team’s size, time, objectives and budget.
What is booking insurance
Booking insurance gives you peace of mind that if your plans go wrong that you can
- Cancel your event up until the Minimum Period of Notice and get a full refund
- Change dates as many times as you need up until the Minimum Period of Notice
- After the Minimum Period postpone the entire event once up until 48hrs prior for groups.
- Change group size numbers up or down up until the Minimum Period of Notice.
Can I consume Alcohol during or before the event?
For everyone’s safety, we have a zero tolerance on both Alcohol and Drugs. We reserve the right to terminate part or the whole booking without refund if we suspect that an individual has been drinking or under the influence of drugs and / or alcohol.
Do you hire / rent protective clothing / what should I wear?
We provide all necessary safety equipment in with your package.
When it is wet your clothing may get dirty. You can purchase Disposable suits on site. ( this is subject to availability and it may be worth ringing in advance). Alternatively please bring your own.
