Don't just take our word for it...
Axe throwing at Hoverforce I bought my friend, Sue, the axe throwing experience for Christmas. Nothing unusual in that, but Sue is totally blind. This, however, was not an obstacle for Hoverforce, or indeed, our wonderful instructor Steve. He gave very clear, concise instructions on how to hold the axe and the throwing technique. He was patient, understanding, kind and a very nice man, who helped us to actually achieve hitting the target. Not only that, but Sue, when doing the angel knives, got them all in. I am fully sighted and thought it was a fab experiment, recommending to anyone with a disability or not. Money well spent.
Hovercraft We had a fantastic time hovercrafting today it was so relaxed .Jake was very professional had us at our ease he made the whole experience exciting and fun and safe great day
Amazing, well worth the money, would highly recommend. Absolutely amazing activity day out. I booked it for a birthday and chose the Go wild package which had 5 activities: rifle shooting; archery; pistol shooting; axe throwing and cross bows. I wasn't 100% sure i would like some of the activities coz im female and scared of guns but wanted to suck it up for my boyfriend as it was a birthday surprise. We both loved it. Neither have really done these activities before besides archery on holiday and a little rifle shooting previously on his part. It was well worth the money, it's a great afternoon out, team it up with and early lunch and it is basically a day out.
The instructor Alex was amazing, instantly put us at ease, instigated some healthy banter/competition which was super funny, especially when I barely hit the target for the axe throwing and he made us laugh through it and didn't make me feel bad or rubbish at all. He had lots of helpful tips in each activity to help us improve and they really helped.
We got to keep our targets from some of the activities and take pics when it was safe to. Could not recommend Hoverforce highly enough for date nights, birthdays, team building, stag/hen nights, work day out etc. I am already planning when we can go back. U dont have to book the go wild package, u can pick just one activity or two etc.
The toilets are portaloos but what do u expect where it is located? You have to go down a long road with lots of uneven ground, some smaller pot holes and it is a single track road with passing points placed far apart so bear that in mind. Take it slow and if ur car is very low to the ground.
To sum up, 10/10, would highly recommend.
40 round range package hover force is the place to go for adventure activity. there is so much to do from shooting, archery, axe throwing, hover craft, and buggy driving. today we opted for just the shooting as being military i wanted to shoot something other then the god awful SA80 and get a chance to see how good my wife is at shooting. the instructors are ex military so they are very knowledgeable. our instructor was Stewart and he was absolutely class. knowledgeable with a decent sense of humour. despite my other half not following instructions and shooting the same target 20 times her groupings weren't half bad. they added in a bit of friendly competition which was 10 rounds rapid at a specified target and after you apply the safety and put your hand up and the timer will stop. unfortunately it turns out io don't follow instructions well either and failed to put my hand up after, leading me to get a slower time. overall the experience was fun something different for my wife to experience something i do regularly that she doesn't get to do but also allowed me to show off some skill and training to my wife. will i be going back to hover force absolutely! 10/10 experience and great for almost all ages.Knife throwing FAQ's
